Summit Technologies & Solutions is seeking highly skilled and motivated Technical Program and Project Managers to coordinate complex defense programs, modernization efforts, and cross‑functional engineering teams. The role will have a critical part to play in ensuring that projects are delivered on time and is in line with mission objectives.


This role is ideal for applicants who possess excellent strategic leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. At Summit Technologies & Solutions, Technical Program and Projects Managers must manage collaboration across multiple departments. As defense programs continue to modernize, the

demand for Technical Program and Projects Managers will grow. At Summit, you will help lead impactful projects that help lead innovation in the defense sector.

Requirements

● Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

● Experience managing technical programs, engineering projects, or large-scale cross-functional initiatives is preferred.

● Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches.

● Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, or similar software.

● Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, operations, and executive teams.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify project risks and develop effective solutions.

● Experience developing project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and performance metrics.

● Ability to manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with customer and mission objectives.

● Familiarity with defense, aerospace, government contracting, or systems engineering environments is preferred.

● Project management certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)are preferred but not required.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment while adapting to changing priorities.

● Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (or an active clearance is preferred).
