Summit Technologies & Solutions is seeking highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain & Supplier Management Specialists to join our team in support of complex aerospace and defense programs. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about coordinating material flow, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of critical components that support production and operational readiness.

As global supply chains continue to face increased fragility and aerospace production scales rapidly, this role plays a key part in maintaining continuity, efficiency, and resilience across sourcing and procurement activities.

Summit is currently seeking Supplier Specialists to support procurement coordination, vendor performance tracking, purchase order management, and cross-functional communication between

engineering, manufacturing, and logistics teams. This role helps ensure that high-quality materials and components are delivered on time to meet program schedules and customer requirements.

Requirements

● Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.

● Experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, supplier management, or logistics is preferred.

● Knowledge of supply chain management principles, inventory control, and procurement processes.

● Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar software is preferred.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve supply chain issues.

● Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers, engineers, manufacturing teams, and other stakeholders.

● Experience tracking supplier performance, managing purchase orders, and coordinating material deliveries is a plus.

● Understanding of supplier quality standards, contract compliance, and risk management practices is preferred.

● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail.

● Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance (or an active clearance is preferred).

● Previous experience in the aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or government contracting industries is a plus.
