About the Role
Summit Technologies & Solutions is seeking skilled and motivated AI & Data Specialists. This position is focused on developing and applying advanced data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning solutions to solve complex and real-world problems.
In this role, you will support initiatives such as predictive maintenance, autonomous systems, mission analytics, and digital engineering. As well as transform data to enhance system performance, and enable smarter decision-making across programs.
Data & AI Specialists represent a rapidly growing segment of the technology workforce, accounting for approximately 22% of technical roles in the sector. This is an opportunity to work in a growing field and contribute to innovative projects at the intersection of data & AI.
Requirements
● BS/BA degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
● 2+ years of experience in data analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, software development, or related technical disciplines.
● Knowledge of data science methodologies including data collection, data preparation, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, machine learning, and data visualization.
● Experience working with programming languages and tools commonly used for data analysis and AI development, such as Python, R, SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar technologies.
● Ability to analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, generate insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
● Experience developing, testing, deploying, or maintaining machine learning models and AI-enabled solutions.
● Familiarity with applications such as predictive maintenance, autonomous systems, mission analytics, digital engineering, or operational performance optimization.
● Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable recommendations.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, analysts, program managers, and other stakeholders.
● Experience working in multidisciplinary teams supporting innovative technology, research, defense, aerospace, or mission-critical programs.
● Ability to adapt to emerging technologies and continuously learn new tools, techniques, and industry best practices.
● U.S. citizenship required.
● Ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearances.
