About the Role

Summit Technologies & Solutions is seeking skilled and motivated Aircraft & Avionics Technicians. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and testing aircraft systems and avionics equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.


As demand continues to rise due to aging aircraft fleets and the development of new hybrid and electric aviation platforms, this role offers the opportunity to work with evolving aerospace technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

● Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, technical certification, military training, or equivalent experience in Aviation Maintenance Technology, Avionics Technology, Aerospace Technology, Electronics, or a related technical field.

● 2+ years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, or testing aircraft systems, avionics equipment, or related aerospace technologies.

● Knowledge of aircraft electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, communication, navigation, and flight control systems.

● Experience using diagnostic equipment, maintenance tools, technical manuals, wiring diagrams, schematics, and aircraft maintenance documentation.

● Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve aircraft and avionics system malfunctions while ensuring compliance with safety and operational requirements.

● Experience performing preventive maintenance, system inspections, repairs, modifications, and functional testing on aircraft and associated equipment.

● Familiarity with aviation regulations, maintenance procedures, quality assurance standards, and industry best practices.

● Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.

● Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with a commitment to safety, accuracy, and mission readiness.

● Ability to work independently and collaboratively with maintenance personnel, engineers, operations teams, and other technical stakeholders.

● U.S. citizenship required.

● Ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearances.
