Summit Technologies & Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated Aerospace Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of aircraft, spacecraft, satellite, and missile systems that support national security and space modernization. As the demand for defense modernization and space‑system research and development increases, this position offers the opportunity to work in a growing field and be at the forefront of aerospace innovation.

Requirements

● BS/BA in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, or related technical discipline or equivalent experience.

● 2+ years of experience supporting the design, development, testing, or analysis of aircraft, spacecraft, satellite, missile, or other aerospace systems.

● Knowledge of aerospace engineering principles including aerodynamics, propulsion, flight mechanics, structural analysis, systems integration, and vehicle performance.

● Experience working on aerospace, defense, research and development, or advanced technology programs involving complex engineering challenges.

● Ability to analyze technical requirements and develop engineering solutions that meet performance, safety, reliability, and mission objectives.

● Experience using engineering design, modeling, simulation, or analysis tools to support system development and testing activities.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate system performance and support technical decision-making.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary engineering and program teams.

● Familiarity with engineering documentation, technical specifications, design reviews, test procedures, and systems verification processes.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment supporting aerospace innovation, defense modernization, and space-system research and development.

● U.S. citizenship required.

● Ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearances.
